(More customer reviews)Be wary of purchasing this trailer from Northern Tool & Equip.They have no part inventory and the packaging on these trailers is extremely poor.Mine arrived and I put together in about 4 hours only to find out I was missing the castle nut that held the wheel on the axle.Not much use without a 2nd wheel.I contacted their Customer service and was told I'd have to wait 3-4 months to get the missing nut since they had to order from China.They cannot open boxes and just ship me the nut due to some contract issue.I talked with 3 different customer "service" reps and got the same run around.

Since I needed the trailer this spring/summer I searched the net and found RedTrailers.com sold an almost identical trailer and SURPRISE has a parts inventory.I ended up ordering an entire axle assemply (first ordered the nut from them, but their axles are slightly larger and it didn't fit on the Northern trailer axle.)

Save yourself some headache and lost time, because you will end up with missing parts and you may waste half a year getting what you paid for.

Pilot WH521-14C-B All Black 14" Indy Wheel Cover Review

(More customer reviews)Just got these for my 2007 Passat w/16" OEM steelies. Acouple of big problems to be aware of -- the spring retaining ring that keep them in place doesn't have a little jog to route around my valve stem so the fitment is bad - one of them popped off after about a mile (fortunately I was able to cruise back and get it). The other aftermarket rims I have did do route around the valve stem and fit just fine - it's not rocket science.

Secondly, the retaining ring is not painted back, but is metallic in color,so stands out like a sore thumb against my black steelies.

Generally, the manufacturer did not invest any IQ points at all in the design of this product. Finally, although they look flat in shapein the pics provided, they actually bulge out quite a bit, which is a different look that is apparent from the provided pics. It is a shame, as otherwise they would've looked pretty cool and reasonably well finished from a plastic forming and painting standpoint.My advice, avoid these if possible, but at least double check they properly fit your oem steelies - it's not clear from the provided info -- they say they fit "most" 16" wheels on the box.

Ok: quick update a few weeks later after I found time to work on it. I was finally able to tweak these by painting the retaining rings black with Krylon spray paint so they don't look awful bright metallic, and very gingerly (and with a lot of frustration) pushing the retaining ring round the valve stem. I must say the actually look pretty good (definitely project an "attitude" like bare black steelies, but a bit nicer on the eyes) and are staying put.

If you do happen to break the flimsy plastic retaining ring mounts on these when trying to get them on, don't count on Pilot sending you a replacement - they were rude. Amazon, on the hand, gladly swapped for a new set, so make sure you keep the box until you are sure you arehappy with them.

Morale of the story, definitely fit check them before chucking the box out, and be very careful the first time you put them on and adjust the retaining ring (it has 3 positions depending on wheel size). It is very easy to snap the plastic retaining ring mounts. Also you may need to paint the retaining. Unfortunately, if you want black wheel covers, these are pretty much the only game in town.

2 In 1 Air Tire Inflator With Gauge Review

(More customer reviews)Meh... The gauge itself seems to be off anywhere from 4-8 psi, at least when compared against a digital Accu gauge. I guess I'll have to compensate...

Others have complained abut the chuck on other vendor entries for this item and the problem is worth repeating here. The chuck often does not fit correctly on the nipple, resulting in a leak. Also, the chuck may be hard to attach depending on the shape of the rim.

Also, the hose that is provided is threaded on the non-chuck end and can be removed as the picture indicates, but the chuck itself is crimped on, so switching it out for an angled truck chuck or 90 degree chuck, for example, is not possible. PLUS, it seems that the thread may be metric, so good luck finding a coupler.

Likewise, the quick change adaptor that is prescrewed into the gun seems welded in, because I sure can't unscrew it. It works for my purposes, but may not for others.

Finally, I got blindsided by this vendor's shipping and "handling" costs. $14.81?!!? Others are selling this exact same device for a bit more but are charging less than half the price for shipping.

It gets 2 stars because it works, kind of, and is convenient, kind of. But I'm glad I didn't spend more on it, and technically could have spent less where it not for the inflated shipping cost (pardon the pun).

Gorilla Automotive 910 Gorilla Grip III Steering Wheel Lock with Remote Control Review

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased this product via Summit Racing in order to enhance the security system already on the vehicle. I must admit the product doesn't lack effort on the part of its designers, but falls short in a couple or so areas.

1. As with most steering wheel locks, can be easily defeated by simply cutting the steering wheel and discarding the product. Although the alarm is loud, 130db isn't sufficient enough to cause a loud disturbence. Sounds like a smoke alarm siren to some degree outside of the vehicle. Oh yeah, that'll scare the thief off. Alerts for 40 seconds, and then resets itself, not enough time.

2. The unit is battery operated by nature, thus there are two screws located on the bottom of the battery compartment. Know where I'm going?? Sure you do, they are standard phillips heads, allowing for either the battery to be removed or wires cut to siren doing a theft of the vehicle. It only takes a few seconds to unscrew the screws and cut the wire to the siren and I'm an average do-gooder.

3. The remote to the alarm resembles a cheap childrens toy. It lasted a few months before communication was lost between the remote and recieving unit. Conviently after the warranty period had elapsed.

Overall, it is a decent product(being generous). Replacement screws, requiring a hex key, will only cost a couple of bucks at a local hardware store. 2. Theft-deterrent not theft-proof are the key words.

I recommend the club 491 (for cars and trucks) or the Club 493 for motorcycles and smaller tires. The earlier of which I've purchased and should receive this coming Friday.

*** As with any theft-deterrent, if a thief wants it, they'll get it and you if necessary. No product is fool-proof or perfect.

Hopefully my first review will help someone.

(More customer reviews)Had these Altimax's for 7 weeks.My car is a Mitubishi Galant 4-cylinder.I'm a professional driver, and most of my roads are twisty, mountainous two-lane tarmac, so these roads and I are very hard on tires.4,600 miles and the fronts were done, with even wear on both.The rears are at 60%.These tires stick like glue on dry surfaces and inspire confidence in every turn.I came away very impressed with their wet weather and light snow handling too.

Summary:If you're extremely hard on tires, dont expect anywhere near the 55k miles they promise.Most drivers are much more docile than I and should see significantly better wear characteristics.Also, General honored their warranty and credited me with most of the cost of the two front tires due to fast wear.

Slime 2018-A Super Magnetic Dial Gauge (0-60 PSI) Review

(More customer reviews)3 stars because the product does exactly what is stated. I was disappointed that it feels so light, cheap and small in my hand. It does have the impression that a drop, stepping on it, etc., would make it history. The dial numbers are small, but readable. However, prior to buying this one, I had bought a much superior Slime, heavy metal gauge at an auto parts store that is more effective than this device, at about the same cost and the valve on that model being both bleeder/last pressure type.The valve on this Slime 2018-A gauge, as stated, is just that, a bleeder valve only. Not both a bleeder and 'maintain the pressure reading' if removed from valve stem.

The connection to the valve stem, in my case, is very snug. So snug that I can push it on and it stays by itself showing the tire pressure - guess that could be a good thing, but I have to put it on in a way that allows me to see the dial to read it. Time will bear out if the shock proof material lasts and the connection area wallows out.

I wouldn't recommend this as your only pressure gauge, but what I can recommend is this makes a great backup, secondary, tertiary, etc. gauge and for anyone with less than perfect eyesight to take a trip to their local auto zone and pickup the metal/larger dial & numbers model that you can take the pressure reading, pull it away from the tire to get to your optimal viewing position and then push the button to reset to zero.

I got this for my birthday... (I love to detail my car) and yeah it comes with everything you might possibly need to make your car shine... The leather conditioner is one of the best conditioners I have ever used.
I gave it 4 stars because:
1.- The shampoo bottle is small... and I mean SMALL... it looks like a shampoo sample.
2.- ONE MICROFIBER? PUHLEASE! at least add 3.
3.- Clay does not come with a protectivebox like the one that comes with Turtle wax clay.
