(More customer reviews)I ordered two of these Valterra Products A10-0908 Red Wheel Chocks with Nylon Cord.I love them.I tried making my own chocks out of 4 x 4 blocks, but they look kind of... well, you know.These Red Chocks are the perfect size for my 27' travel trailer's tires.They slide right in behind and in front of the tires securely.One chock is on gravel, the other up on wood blocks to level the trailer.Both chocks feel secure and don't feel like they will slip out.I love the nylon cord I can give a tug and pull the chock free.

Definitely order two of these so you will have a pair.I am seriously considering two more.For under ten bucks for a pair... Yep, I'm ordering two more.

(More customer reviews)The fit of these was very tight.The tires needed to be warmed up first and even then, the plastic tabs that stop the chains from touching the tires come off very easy.These where very expensive compared to other chains.I don't think I would buy them again.I would go with cheap pair or pairs and still pay less than half of what I did for these.I will say that once on, they work well.

A Liquid Filled Tire Gauge That Works Right!2 1/2" Deluxe Gauge with protective bumperHolds pressure reading until releasedGlow-in-the-Dark dial face17" hose with swivel ball chuckSpecially designed vent button to equalize pressure and maintain gauge accuracyLiquid filled gauges have many advantages. But they can change readings by as much as 2-3 psi if the temperature changes...All pressure gauges - liquid filled and regular - need to be vented to the outside to read accurately. If not vented, as the surrounding temperature changes, they will build up pressure inside and affect the accuracy - by as much as 2-3 psi!But if a liquid filled gauge is vented it will leak on your hands and in your tool box. Some manufacturers aren't aware of this and don't vent the gauge. You then have to deal with the variation in accuracy.Now from Longacre comes the simple answer to this problem. We have installed a specially designed pressure equalizer button on the top of the gauge. Before you use the gauge just push this button. Instantly any temperature-caused pressure difference will be eliminated and you will be guaranteed the most accurate readings possible.If you have a liquid filled tire gauge prove it to yourself. Take your gauge that has been in a cool place and in the typical range you use. Then take the gauge and put it out in the sun for about 45 minutes, as would happen during a race. Then re-check the tire that is still in the cool place. You will see that the reading has changed. You know that the pressure in the tire is the same so the gauge reading must now be off. How will this affect your handling to have tire pressures high or low by several psi? What's worse is that you don't know at what temp the gauge is actually correct! It depends on the temp in the factory when it was manufactured. You could remove the rubber fill plug on the gauge. But then the liquid would leak out.

Will agree with another reviewer... would be nice to have an extra cross chain or two where they hook together.As is they leave about a foot of the diameter of the tire with no cross chain.. so you get alittle slippage at that point.Would be nice if they came with tightners, but two old bungee cords did the trick.

My GMC Jimmy on 31x10.50s doesn't have much trouble by itself, but when I need to pull out a stuck friend I need to air down. (More customer reviews)I bought this tire gauge specifically to check the tire pressure of my F350 dually.The factory installed steel extenders made using pencil type gauges or other digital gauges impractical, particularly for checking the inner and outer rear tires.Even though this gauge is sold for 'dual rear wheel trucks', I had to bend the steel tube about 5 degrees so it could make solid contact with the inner tire inflation stem.Once it was bent, the gauge worked perfectly!NOTE: I had friends at a machine shop bend the steel tube for me, it was too stiff to bend by hand or in a vice.The gauge has big digits that are easy to read, even without my cheater glasses.The air release button on the handle is convienent to use - even though I first thought it was for the display.I have found it best to test the pressure, add more air than needed and then slowly release it using a combination of the button and disengaging and reengaging the gauge and testing until you get the desired tire pressure.I found that if I failed to disengage and then reengage the tire pressure gauge, it tended to give me the same reading without resetting.The guys at the garages always 'OHHHH and AHHHH' when I open the case and pull out this impressive tool.It was well worth the money and Amazon had the best price of the various sites I visited while price shopping.Oh, yea, I had to cut the plastic case a tad to allow for the bent tube to properly fit in the case so it would close.

Update to this review.Don't waste your time on this product.Tried to attach it to my truck valve and I struggled to get a seal.Once I got a seal, the pointer is fat at the p.s.i. numbers and it was not worth the fight.

It does what it's supposed to do, which is to store your tires and make your garage look tidy, but it's not as sturdy for something that should hold four tires. I tried moving it with the four tires just a few inches and the seams ripped.

(More customer reviews)The bleed button on this gauge is quite useful. I can slowly released air from the tires by holding down the bleed button while the tire pressure is being measured. I find it easier to overinflate the tire just slightly, by a pound or so, and release the excess using the bleed valve to obtain the wanted pressure. The dial on the gauge also retains the tire pressure reading after measuring, the hose is ~5" long and quite flexible to fit in some hard to reach spots.
