I bought a digital unit - wont work or quirky if it's too hot, too cold, raining, icy, snowy, and many times not easy to read. There's a reason that all of us have ANALOG clocks in our kitchen - our brain processes an analog dial far faster and more intuitively than a digital readout.

Get this - you know you need one. Put in glove box and use once a month.

It does not. It seems to read in line with my other guages. I needed one with a 90 degree end for use with motorcycles. This one does the job and seems to be fairly accurate. My only complaint being the misrepresentation of the product description.That alone makes it deserving of a rating no greater than two.

(More customer reviews)All the other inflators out there have 200psi-250psi gauges, which is useless for motorcycles, where the difference between 40psi and 42psi makes a difference. This has a nice 60psi gauge where you can set the tire pressure to exactlywhat you want. The valve clip actually stays in place and doesn't leak, unlike Sear's, Lowe's & Harbor Freight stuff. It's also much better made than the usual cheap cast potmetal bodies.

The 90 degree valve head swivels, and I can get it in between the brake discs and spokes a lot easier than the straight hoses.

The thumb lever is a lot more comfortable than the pistol-grip tools. For me, it was worth every dime over the $30 models, because checking the tire pressure isn't such an irritating chore now.

I shop a lot at Amazon. I have been impressed with their service and the way thay stand behind what they sell/list. They chose not to post my negative review of this item at least one time now. I am trying once more. I now question the meaningfulness of the feedback they choose to share.

Needed it now because my old crappy $15 pump finally died.

Pros.
Real smooth and well balanced.This thing doesn't jump around at all.
Fill speed is good, but not for large tires.
For those get the version that clamps to battery terminals.

This one topped off my P255-75R15 in decent time.
However, filling up my 60PSI doughnut spare took a while.
I don't think there is much head space for the higher pressures.
This is where the screw-on air chuck was useful.

The pressure gauge actually works and is accurate.
The switches are separate for pump and LED lights.

The handle is actually a metal heat shield for the output.
Run this pump for a while airing up a 60 PSI spare and you
will understand why it needs a heat shield.

The unit comes with a bag.Not the highest quality but
sufficient for storing the pump and a few other odds and ends.

Cons.
The screw-on air chuck can be a pain, but just overfill a bit before taking it off.
The air hose is adequate for reaching front and back tires on one side,
but you have to move the pump from one side of the vehicle to the other.
The LED lamps aren't that bright, and the blinkers are only three white LEDs.
You have to put in a red filter.They should have been red LEDs.

I'm reserving comment on the lighter connector.Looks a bit cheap compared to the
rest of this unit.

All in all I'm happy.

(More customer reviews)I had to call to order the chains since my size wasn't listed.I had to tell him 5+ times the size of my tires.I figured I was in trouble at that point, but thought I go ahead and give it a try anyway.

The chains were too big for my tires (very loose after I got them on).At first, the owner (single owner outfit) responded to me.That was almost 3 weeks ago.He was supposed to get with the manufacturer (probably some Chineese firm that makes these things for him), but I am yet to hear back.I've sent numerous emails, but still no response.

About the quality of the chains.They seemed rather cheap and not heavy duty.Maybe that's ok for a car with low-profile tires and they need to be small.But for my truck, they look like they'd snap in one use.

(More customer reviews)When my father passed, he left me a Tru-Flate tire pressure gauge. I've used many gauges in my past but nothing compares to this tire gauge. I was so pleased that I ordered more, should I missplace my original. Gauges are available all over but most are cheaply manufactured and often the internal parts fall out of the gauge.

My recommendation is that if you don't own a Tru-Flate brand, you will regret the constant change in tire pressure. Keep one in the vehicle should you note what appears as a low tire.

I'm sold on Tru-Flate tire pressure gauges.

FLOOR TABLE DIRT BIKE TIRE CHANGING STAND TOOL Review

(More customer reviews)A tire changing stand make tire changing a lot easier. Having the wheel elevated off the ground a few inches makes it much easier to work around the rim lock on both sides, hold the wheel sill, and keep the bead down in the drop center of the rim.

This stand has a pin that goes through the axle hole in the wheel to keep the wheel centered and one on the edge to keep it from turning. There is a cut out to allow access to the other side for positioning a rim lock without removing the wheel and turning it over.

This is very close to the Zip Ty model which is the gold standard. I don't know about metal wall thickness but it seems very solid and can handle jumping on it with your knees or feet to get and hold the bead down in the rim drop center while working with the other side. Keeping the bead down in the drop center, lubricant, and good quality spoons are the key to a fast easy change and not pinching a tube. The only differences I could tell is the Zip Ty unit has tabs to anchor it down around the inside edges and this one has a flat cross reinforcement with holes in it where the Zip Ty one has a tubular cross piece, the Zip Ty one is red this is black, and the Zip Ty one is $30 to $40 more.

For bead lubricant, try some regular Windex. It works great but only last for a minute or two. Then there is little or no residue like if you use soap and water. Baby powder can also be used for a bead lubricant as well as inside the tire for tube lube to avoid chafing.

(More customer reviews)I purchased slime with the intention of correcting a very slow leak in my left front tire.I have a '92 4WD Toyota pickup with 32" X 10.5" BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires.I used the recommended 20 oz amount.The front end was aligned on 4/28/10 and operation was smooth until the first application of slime in the slow leak tire.It causes the steering wheel to shudder rapidly, spanning an inch and half clockwise/counter-clockwise.I can feel this being transmitted from the imbalance created in the tire.

Yes, I did drive the truck immediately after installing the slime.In fact, I had read about it extensively on the net before purchasing the product and bought two bottles because someone, amidst a plurality of satisfactory reviews, had noted a similar imbalance by using the product; my intention being to fill the other front tire to balance the front end, should that reviewer prove to be right.This made the shudder in the steering wheel perceptibly worse.I have contacted the company for a refund and hopefully pay to get the slime out of my tires and the wheels rebalanced.

It is really bad.

(More customer reviews)I purchased two Ultra Tyre Gard Size 3 for up to 29" diameter tires for my motorhome. My tires aren't more than 29" in diameter (and if I recall, they're actually just a bit under at about 28.75") but these tire covers didn't come close to full coverage, leaving at least 2" of tire uncovered. I like the covers and I need them, so I'm getting the next size up.

The interesting thing is that there's a sizing chart on the box in which the tire covers are packed. The sizing chart uses standard tire specs like 265 75R 16, and based on those specs I need the size 2 tire cover for diameters of 30" to 32" even though my tire diameter is just under 29". The seller really should show this sizing chart to consumers because the general description of 26" to 29" just isn't sufficient information to make the right choice.

Anyway, the tire covers seem to be just great and I'm looking forward to getting the correct size. The box says "Over 20,000,000 covers sold"!

Slime 40022 Digital Compressor Review

Well, the unit does that and does it well. Actuall too well, as I cannot pump any balls with it, as it just shuts off itself a few seconds after the start.
It inflates tires well, but I noticed that it does not measure the pressure correctly. If you set it at 35PSI and check the pressure after inflating it would be in 38-40PSI range. I need to set it to lower settings to get the results right.
It inflates quickly and queitly, but cannot measure the pressure right and does not inflate balls.
