I got one of these kits since I don't run with a spare on my 2005 Honda S2000 (this was the last year they didn't come from the factory with them). The first one I got had a defective LCD display but a replacement was over nighted to me and the replacement has so far been flawless.

**EDIT** The new display has now failed. It will report and store the pressure when you initialize the sensors but the information doesn't change after that.It will still alert if the pressure goes down so I didn't drop my rating all the way down to 1 star but I'm now out of the 30 day replacement so I can't get another replacement so it only gets 2 stars. If the display worked it could be 4-5 stars but the poor quality control of the display ruins the rating for it.

(Schrader AirAware 20256 TPMS Wireless Retrofit Kit). The actual install was a very easy 3-wire hookup (ground, constant 12 volt and switched 12 volt). If you've installed anything electrical in a car you should have no problem with this.

The first LCD display would "learn" each sensor but wouldn't display the data from them.Instead it reported 34psi and 194 degrees F. from the front left tire and 34psi and 168 degrees F. from the front right tire. The rears both had no data at all. This must be some sort of default setting because the replacement had the same numbers until I had it learn the sensors and they reported their data to it.Once that was done it worked like it should. When you first start the car it rotates thru each sensor and reports the pressure and temp of each.If anything is not right you get an alarm right away (beeps and warning lights come on). There are warning lights for temp, pressure and battery life on the sensors.

The kit comes with 4 sensors but the display can interface with 5 sensors so if you want your spare to be monitored then you'll need to buy another sensor (Schrader AirAware 20154 Replacement Sensor for Retro-Fit Kits 20256 And 20257 (1-pack)).I had the sensors installed at my local tire store for just under $100 out the door for 4 wheels.

I rated it 4 stars because the first unit was defective and while not as unattractive as some of the retrofit kits I looked at before buying this one there is still room for improvement in its appearance (could be smaller and flatter). The wires have a plug so it can be detached easily and so when I replaced the defective unit it took all of 5 minutes from unpacking to programming. I have it attached to the dash hidden behind the steering wheel spoke with 1/2" thick black foam tape because the dash is not flat and I didn't want it detracting from the look of the dash by mounting it on top or in plain view.

Well worth the piece of mind in my book.
